Mahindra & Mahindra said to be interested in Volvo
Mahindra & Mahindra is said to be interested in bidding for the Volvo Car Corp which is a unit of Ford.
Media reports claim: “Mahindras are discussing with private-equity players including Cerberus Capital and Texas Pacific Group to place a joint bid.”
Volvo Group had sold the Volvo Car unit to Ford in 1999.
Ford is considering selling off this unit to improve their financial situation as they continue to struggle in their domestic market.
