Chevrolet OK: GM India to enter used-car business
GM India has announced that they are all set to enter the user car business with the launch of Chevrolet OK service.
They would be launching this new service in January.
It would initially be available through 10 outlets as part of existing Chevrolet dealers in metros like Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore.
GM India president and MD Karl Slym spoke about this service launch: “We will provide customers with certified used-cars guaranteed by Chevrolet. The cars will undergo a 110 point check-up and certification.”
The company repeated that their Indian operations are not going to be affected by the problems faced by the parent company in the US. GM is struggling in their home market and is looking at the US government for financial help.
