Ted Ts’o is the new CTO of Linux Foundation
Ted Ts’o has been named as the new CTO of Linux Foundation.
Ted Ts’o is considered to be one of the first North American developer of the Linux kernel.
He has already served as a foundation fellow and chief platform strategist.
He is also well respected in the Linux community.
He replaces Markus Rex at this position who is moving to Novell.
Ts’o spoke about his new appointment: “I’m looking forward to translating that power into concrete milestones for the LSB specifically and for Linux overall in the year ahead.”
