GM announces 2010 Chevrolet Equinox
US based automaker General Motors has announced their new model 2010 Chevrolet Equinox.
This redesigned crossover sport-utility vehicle would be showcased at the upcoming North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
This new edition of Equinox seems to be based on their Chevrolet Malibu and Traverse.
The company said that this new edition would be powered with a 2.4-liter, four-cylinder direct-injection engine. This edition would give a fuel efficiency of 30 miles per gallon on the highway and 21 mpg in the city.
Another model would feature a 3.0-liter, six-cylinder engine. This edition would give a fuel efficiency of 25 mpg on the highway and 18 mpg in the city.
This model would also incorporate an electric power steering system that improves fuel efficiency. The company claims that this alone can give drivers an extra 11 miles on each tank of gas.
