Tata Nano plant construction to end by December next year
Tata is working on establishing their Tata Nano plant at Sanand in Gujarat.
Market sources say that the construction is going on at top speed. The company aims to complete the work by December next year.
VC Deshpande, managing director of Pressure Piling Company who are working for Tata on this plant stated: “Work is on in full swing and we hope to finish the foundation work by end January. The entire plant will be ready by December next year”.
Tata shifted this plant from Singur in West Bengal to this location after facing political protests from the opposition parties.
Tata is currently planning to manufacture limited number of Nano at their existing plant in Pantnagar for the launch.
It would take them a while to get the full production on. Very disappointing news from the company.
