Subex Systems to acquire Azure Solutions
Subex Systems has announced that they are acquiring UK-based Azure Solutions Ltd. the deal is worth around $140 million and it would help the telecoms software firm expand its geographic presence and client list.
This merger would create the world’s largest vendor of fraud-prevention software aimed at the telecom industry. And they would have a client base including 23 of the world’s 40 largest telecom operators around the world.
Subash Menon, founder of Subex said in a statement on this deal: “Over the next two-three years my feeling is that we’ll go way beyond 200 (clients).” This acquisition is expected to be complete within a year’s time.
Subex is based in Bangalore and has around 350 employees.
