FriendFinder Networks files for an IPO

FriendFinder Networks is behind a popular social network and the publisher of Penthouse adult magazine.

The company has now filed for a $460 million initial public offering.

They are going to use the funds generated from this IPO to pay off debt as per their filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

FriendFinder Networks income this year till December 6 was around $48.6 million. This is down massively from earnings in the year 2006.

They are aiming to operate on the New York Stock Exchange.
