Maruti is now highlighting fuel efficiency of all its models
With the start of the new year, India’s leading automaker Maruti Suzuki has announced that they are now displaying the official fuel efficiency figures of all their models in showrooms.
The company has reported following figures for their models:
Maruti 800: 16.1 km to a liter
Maruti A-Star: 19 km to a liter
Maruti Swift Diesel: 21 km to a liter
Maruti Swift Petrol: 16 km to a liter
These figures have been tested and verified by several bodies including:
Automotive Research Association of India
Vehicles Research and Development Establishment
International Center of Automotive Technology
The aim is to have better informed customers so that they can make the right decision while buying a car.
