Lenovo said to be cutting jobs in domestic market
Chinese personal computer maker Lenovo has set to begun cutting jobs in their domestic operations.
Market sources say that the company is laying off 200 staff in its Beijing-based headquarters.
This was reported in a news item by China Tech News.
Reports further say that the company is considering cutting jobs in their Asia Pacific operations.
Lenovo has officially dismissed these reports as not true.
Economic recession is forcing a lot of companies to cut costs and this is resulting in massive job cuts.
Microsoft too is rumored to be close to announcing a job cut in their operations.
