Bombay Stock Exchange: Sun Pharmaceutical to replace Satyam
India’s Bombay Stock Exchange has announced that they are now going to replace Satyam Computer’s stock with Sun Pharmaceutical on the Sensex.
Sun Pharmaceutical is currently the country’s largest drug maker by market value.
BSE said that this change would be applicable from January 12.
Ranbaxy Laboratories is currently the only other drug company on the BSE Sensex.
National Stock Exchange too has announced that they are replacing Satyam from their various indices.
