Ford Taurus 2010 to be showcased at the Detroit auto show
US based automaker Ford has showcased their 2010 edition Ford Taurus at the Detroit auto show.
This model used to be the best selling model in the US market.
The company is hoping that this new edition model would boost sales at a time when they are struggling to stay competitive in USA.
This new model is being rushed into production a year early so that the company can offer more fuel efficient models to their customers.
Ford representative Marisa Bradley said that the Taurus might not be the volume leader, but it certainly is the halo product for the company.
This 2010 edition of Ford Taurus is being made on a platform taken from Ford’s Volvo unit.
