Stephen Luczo is the new CEO of Seagate
Storage industry giant Seagate has surprised market experts by announcing a change in the top management.
Seagate has replaced their Chief Executive Bill Watkins with Chairman Stephen Luczo.
The company also added that their chief operating officer stepped down.
Seagate has also announced that they are now going to cut about 10 percent of its workforce in the USA.
Luczo would continue in his Chairman position along with the new responsibilities of CEO.
The company said that they made this change as they believe that Steve was the right person to lead the company at this time.
The new developments hit the company stock as they went down in the share market.
