Samsung Electronics reorganizes into two major divisions

Samsung Electronics has announced a major reorganization of the company structure.

Samsung would now function as two major divisions.

The company is merging its chip and LCD units. The other division would handle telecom and media units.

Samsung chief executive officer Lee Yoon-woo would look after the semiconductor and LCD division.

Samsung’s head of the telecommunications business Choi Gee-sung would look after the second division.
