Vijaya Mallya to run for Rajya Sabha from Kashmir
Liquor industry giant Vijaya Mallya has announced that he would contest Rajya Sabha polls from Kashmir as an independent candidate supported by the National Conference.
He has also promised to take steps to promote tourism in the state which is now headed by Omar Abdullah as the newly elected chief minister.
Mallya added that his Kingfisher Airlines will come out with attractive tour packages targeted at the state.
Mallya further said that the India Inc does not want India to go on a war with Pakistan as it would further effect the economy which is already in a crisis.
