Manchester United looking towards Sahara for partnership

World’s most popular soccer club Manchester United is looking towards an Indian company for sponsorship.

Manchester United has apparently approached Sahara group for a sponsorship deal.

AIG is currently one of the major promoters of the British club but they are themselves going through a major crisis.

This has made Manchester United to look for new sponsors for the coming seasons.

Abhijit Sarkar, the head of Sahara’s corporate communication has confirmed that they have received a proposal from Manchester United.

Sahara is currently one of the biggest sponsors of the Indian cricket team paying more than Rs 400 crore for January 2006 to December 2009.
