Honda sends a legal notice to Maruti over Suzuki SX4 advertisements
Japanese automaker Honda is taking on Maruti Suzuki through a legal notice over the recent ads of SX4 sedan model.
Honda is claiming that Maruti is making false statements regarding their new City model in their SX4 ads.
The ads claim that City’s entry-level model does not have an integrated stereo as standard equipment and it is also shorter in size compared to Maruti SX4.
Honda claims that these ads are designed to mislead the customers which amounts to unfair trade practice.
Honda said that they are now waiting for Maruti’s response on the issue before initiating any action.
