Lenovo: No more job cuts planned for now
Chinese personal computer maker Lenovo has stated that they have no plans to cut any more jobs in the near future.
The company is already undergoing a restructuring process that would see around 2500 job cuts.
Lenovo CEO William Amelio said in a statement: “We don’t plan further lay-offs. I’m confident that with what we’ve done right now we have been able to get ourselves efficient.”
The company is also looking for potential acquisition deals as they believe the market would see consolidation in the coming years.
Amelio added: “We are looking at all opportunities that are out there. There is going to be a consolidation. It is going to happen.”
