Nokia collaborating with HCL in India

World’s biggest mobile phone company Nokia has announced that they are now collaborating with Indian IT giant HCL Infosystems.

The two companies would now work together to offer mobile value added services and entertainment content to mobile users in the Indian market.

This deal would however require an approval by the regulatory bodies in India.

D Shivakumar, VP and Managing Director, Nokia India spoke about this deal: “An important part of our future distribution strategies in India is that we want to ensure that our value added services and entertainment offerings are readily available to all consumers. This arrangement is a natural continuation of our long term collaboration with HCL in India”.

Ajai Chowdhry, founder, Chairman & CEO of HCL Infosystems added: “We are excited about this opportunity as we believe it brings further value to our customers and Indian consumers in general by offering seamless mobile value added services and entertainment content.”
