Boeing announces plan to cut 10,000 jobs
US based aircraft manufacturer Boeing has announced that they are planning to cut around 6 percent of its workforce.
The company suffered a major strike late last year and they have posted a fourth-quarter loss.
Boeing is also not untouched by the current economic crisis and they have to cut costs to stay competitive.
The company said that this just announced job cut plan includes the job cut they had announced earlier.
Boeing posted a net loss of $56 million in the most recent quarter.
Boeing delivered 50 aircraft in the quarter which was much below their original expectations mostly due to the strike at their plants.
