Los Angeles Times to Cut 300 Jobs
Los Angeles Times has become the latest news media company to announce job cuts.
LA Times has announced that they would cut 300 jobs in their operations.
These job cuts include 70 newsroom positions.
LAT is also eliminating a standalone local news section.
A company memo from Eddy Hartenstein stated: “These moves are designed to help us deal with the economic realities of the day”.
No further details were provided.
