Nike online sales seeing a major boost
Nike’s US chief Mark Parker has stated that the company is seeing a major increase in sales through online outlets.
He said: “We’ve seen a fairly dramatic increase in online sales.”
Parker was speaking at the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum.
He said that this was probably because a lot of customers avoid driving to stores to conserve gas.
The company last month reported a 9 percent rise in quarterly net profit showcasing that they are pretty safe from the current global economic crisis.
