GM sales down 50% last month!
General Motors has revealed that their sales in the US market were down 49 percent.
This drop was steeper than what the market had expected.
This is however not surprising considering the entire US market is going through a recession.
The overall sales in the US market are also at their lowest level since 1982.
GM has now cut their first-quarter production plan. They are also announcing more discounts on their products to attract the customers.
GM said that the sales to fleet operators and car rental agencies was a major worry as they dropped by around 80% last month.
