Kiran Karnik is the new chairman of Satyam Computer Services
Former Nasscom chief Kiran Karnik has now been named as the new Chairman of the Satyam Computer Services.
This appointment comes just days after A.S. Murthy was appointed as the chief executive officer of Satyam.
India’s corporate affairs minister P. C. Gupta also announced that the government has now decided to widen the investigation being conducted by the Serious Frauds Investigation Office to 325 entities and 25 individuals linked to Satyam and the Raju family.
He said: “The SFIO will look into the links between all these entities, including diversion of funds.”
Karnik, Deepak Parekh and C. Achuthan have already been announced as the new board members at the company.
