Hyundai India raise the prices of their cars

South Korean automaker Hyundai has increased the prices of their cars in the Indian market.

This price hike range between 2.5-3 per cent and it is applicable on some of the variants of their models.

Hyundai India MD H. S. Lheem said that the prices of these models were not in line with the cost of the raw materials so the price hike was necessary.

Another company representative said that the price hike was necessary due to lower capacity utilization.

Hyundai added that their new research and development center in Hyderabad would soon be operational.

Hyundai India has several models on sale in the Indian market including: Hyundai Santro, Hyundai Getz, Hyundai i10, Hyundai i20, Hyundai Accent, Hyundai Verna, Hyundai Sonata and Hyundai Tucson.
