Hyundai i20 Diesel coming this year in India
Hyundai India has announced that they would be launching a diesel edition of their i20 model this year.
The company recently launched a petrol edition of Hyundai i20 in the Indian market.
Hyundai already offers a petrol edition of i10 here in India.
The company has not yet decided on the engine capacity of the diesel version for the Indian market.
Hyundai said in a statement: “We will launch the i-20 diesel for the domestic market this year. But we are yet to finalize the engine size.”
They need a capable diesel in this segment of the market to take on Maruti Swift Diesel.
