Ford small car for India on track
Ford India has revealed that their plans to launch a small car in the Indian market next year are on track.
The company said that they are currently on schedule to launch the new model in 2010.
Ford said: “The small car from Ford is on track and we are expecting it to launch by early 2010.”
Ford said that this model would be launched in both petrol and diesel versions and the engine capacity would be more than 1000CC.
The company claims that they would price the model competitively.
It would be great to have some new competition in the premium small car market which currently includes Skoda Fabia, Maruti Swift, Hyundai i20.
