Nortel Networks to cut 3,200 jobs more
Nortel Networks has announced that they are now going to cut another 3200 jobs from their global operations.
The company is currently under bankruptcy protection.
Nortel said that these latest round of job cuts will be made over the next several months.
These are in addition to 1,800 job cuts already announced by the company.
Nortel President and Chief Executive Mike Zafirovski said in a statement that they have to make these tough decisions to restructure the company and make it profitable again.
