Toyota Innova CNG edition launched in India
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has finally launched the CNG edition of their Innova multipurpose utility vehicle.
Toyota said that the CNG option is now available on all the variants of their Petrol Innova.
The company said that this duel fuel option would provide customers a more economical and environment friendly driving option.
The car comes powered with a 1998 cc, 16V DOHC VVTi petrol engine. Drivers get a manual selector switch which can be used to switch between the two fuel sources.
Toyota said that the running cost of Innova on CNG comes to around Re. 1.6/km.
The CNG editions are priced around Rs 85000 higher than the comparable petrol edition.
