Maruti Suzuki India sold 79,190 vehicles last month

Maruti Suzuki India is on a roll. The company sold 79,190 vehicles last month which is a record for them.

This is a massive improvement over 63,822 vehicles they sold in February last year.

This is also an improvement over their previous record of 71,779 set in January.

The company exported 8,565 vehicles last month which is a 90 percent improvement from last year.

This alone helped them establish this new record.

Market analyst Mahantesh Sabarad spoke about the market conditions in India: “Banks are now more willing to lend to dealers and that’s helping them to build inventories. I don’t think we will see this kind of growth going forward when the economy is under turmoil and when we have increasing fears about job losses.”
