Hyundai i10 and i20 set to get diesel options

Hyundai Motor India has announced that they are working hard on launching the diesel versions of their new models in the market.

The company plans to offer both i10 and i20 in diesel variants.

Hyundai India said in a statement: “We will launch the i20 diesel for the domestic market this year. But we are yet to finalize the engine size.”

Hyundai i20 diesel would be launched before the diesel version of the i10.

They are likely to power the i20 diesel in the Indian market with a 1.4 liter CRDi engine that offers 88 BHP. The company has a more powerful engine that is used on export models but it is unlikely to be used due to higher costs.
