Watchmen scores an estimated $24.9 million on first day
Highly anticipated Hollywood flick Watchmen performed well on the launch date.
Market sources say that the movie made an estimated $24.9 million in the first day of launch.
Watchmen has been co-produced by Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures.
It is being played in 3,611 locations which makes it the bigger release ever for an R rated movie.
Zack Snyder is the director of the movie. His previous blockbuster was 300.
Slumdog Millionaire still continues to attract fans as it continues to make more money for the producers.
