Skoda Superb updated edition launched in India

Skoda has launched a brand new edition of their Superb luxury car in the Indian market.

This car is on sale at a discounted price as the company aims to boost sales.

Skoda Superb is now available in a single variant at a price of Rs 18.8 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).

This is much cheaper when compared to older version prices of Rs. 20.1 lakhs to Rs. 22.7 lakhs.

Skoda spoke about the new model: “India is an extremely price sensitive market. One of our challenges was to get the price right so as to make the product a value proposition.”

This new model of Superb is powered with a 1.8-litre, 160-BHp petrol engine.

It features an automatic seven-speed gear box.

Skoda is aiming to sell 1000 units of Superb by the end of the year.
