LaCie acquires Wuala through merger with Caleido
Caleido has announced that they are merging their operations with LaCie.
LaCie would gain control over online storage service Wuala through this deal.
The two companies did not reveal the financial aspects of their merger.
Wuala calls itself a social online storage service and it enables a web user to store and back up photos, videos, music and other types of content online.
The two companies said that they are now going to develop a cloud storage service for their customers.
