Sony Ericsson prepares for losses as sales are down
Sony Ericsson has revealed that they are going to post a loss in the first three months of this year.
The company is struggling due to falling sales of their mobile phones in the markets around the world.
Sony Ericsson said that they are expecting to post a net loss before tax of between 340m Euros and 390m Euros for the quarter.
The company added that they are likely to ship around 14 million phones during the first quarter.
Sony Ericsson is not the only mobile phone manufacturer to be in trouble. Motorola has been struggling to compete against the new emerging competition since quite sometime.
