Microsoft ends patent dispute with TomTom
Microsoft has announced that they are now ending their patent dispute filed against TomTom.
Microsoft said that TomTom would be paying them an undisclosed amount for this settlement.
Microsoft had filed the lawsuit against TomTom last month claiming their products were infringing on Microsoft’s owned patents.
TomTom responded with a counter lawsuit claiming Microsoft was infringing on some of their patents.
Microsoft said that the settlement would see TomTom getting rights to use eight of their patented technologies.
Microsoft would also get the right to get coverage for the four TomTom patents without paying anything.
