Sanjay Gupta is the new COO of Star India
Media group Star India has announced the appointment of Sanjay Gupta as their new Chief Operating Officer.
He would now look after the operations of the various television channels operated by the group.
STAR India’s CEO, Uday Shankar spoke about this new appointment: “The STAR footprint now extends beyond the core and non-core Hindi markets and even in difficult times such as these, the company has chosen to press on with its agenda for growth. This requires us to further sharpen our focus on senior management responsibility in all our businesses, and Sanjay will be a key resource for us to drive our growth further.”
Sanjay Gupta would report directly to Shankar and would operate from Mumbai office.
