GM aims to double sales in China in the coming years
General Motors might be struggling in their home market but they are doing well in the overseas markets.
China for example is a very profitable market for the US based automaker. And they are now planning to double their sales in China in the coming years.
GM has been quoted as saying that they are aiming to double its vehicle sales in China to more than 2 million units by 2013.
They aim to achieve this by launching more than 30 new or upgraded models in China in the next five years.
They are not alone trying to make more money from this growing market. Even Volkswagen is working hard on expansion plans in China.
