Tata Nano might be used as a Taxi in Bangalore
Adarsha Auto Drivers’ Union has announced that they are considering the possibility of using Tata Nano as replacements for auto rickshaws.
A Union representative said: “We are discussing the feasibility. We will propose to the government that when old autos are replaced, they be substituted with Nanos. We are waiting for the car to hit the roads. We plan to ask the minority’s welfare department to help drivers get the cars at good prices. The Nanos can be operated on meter basis, just like the autos.”
Tata Nano has become the cheapest car to go on sale in the world.
It is pretty spacious despite being a small car and it also happens to be the most fuel efficient four wheelers on Indian roads today.
