Tata Nano booking response good on Day 1
Tata Motors started accepting bookings for their new car Tata Nano today.
Markets sources say that the response was pretty good.
Tata had been selling the forms since the beginning of the month which could be submitted to the company dealers starting today.
Tata did not reveal any figures but a company representative did say: “The booking signs are encouraging.”
Tata spoke about the craze for Nano: “The website has received 2 crore hits. About 3 lakh visitors have walked into showrooms to catch a glimpse of the Nano.”
The company is planning to start delivering the vehicle to the customers from July this year.
