China Mobile to invest on expanding rural telecommunications networks
China Mobile has announced that they are going to invest 70 billion Yuan in developing and expanding their rural telecommunications network.
China Mobile is the largest telecom player in China and also remains the largest mobile operator in the world.
The company said that the funds would be invested in the coming years and it would improve the connectivity in more than five million villages.
China Mobile added that they have already spent close to 19.5 billion Yuan over the past five years to construct its rural network.
China happens to be the largest mobile market with around 660 million mobile users at the end of February.
