Fuel surcharge hiked again by Jet Airways and Kingfisher Airlines
Private airline companies Jet Airways and Kingfisher Airlines have raised the fuel surcharge on their tickets.
These charges have been increased by Rs. 300 on long flights and Rs. 200 on shorter routes.
SpiceJet too has stated that they are considering increasing the fuel surcharge on their tickets.
Air India however has no plans to increase the rates in the near future.
The airline operators say that the prices needed to be hiked due to the increasing price of aviation fuel.
