Porsche Panamera launched in China
Porsche has entered into the Chinese luxury sedan market with the launch of their Panamera sedan.
This model was launched just before the start of the Shanghai auto show.
It shows how important China is becoming for the auto makers of the world.
This is incidentally the first time Porsche has entered a new market segment at an auto show outside Europe or North America.
China is closing in on United States to become the world’s largest automobile market and this makes them a major target for any big car maker.
