Satyam Computer Services to remain independent

Tech Mahindra are the new owners of Indian IT Company Satyam Computer Services.

They have announced that Satyam would function as a standalone unit in the near future.

Tech Mahindra said that they near future goal is to retain the existing customers and win back any business that has been lost in the recent times.

Tech Mahindra Chairman Anand Mahindra said: “On reaction of customers so far, I don’t believe this is a sinking ship, no longer. This may not be a racing car yet. That is our task to make it one.”

He added: “Under Tech Mahindra’s plans, Satyam will continue to operate as a standalone unit and its leadership will continue to drive operations.”
