Microsoft still interested in Yahoo deal
Microsoft has said that they still see a lot of value in collaboration with Yahoo.
Microsoft has no intentions of acquiring Yahoo however.
Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer said: “I have said many times that we no longer are interested in acquiring Yahoo, but we’d see the potential to create real value by partnering with Yahoo. I have said many times that when the time is right I’m sure we will have such discussions and I’ve said many times I’m not going to tell you when the time is right.”
Ballmer has already said that they are not interested in entering the hardware business after rival Oracle recently announced their decision to acquire Sun Microsystems.
