Verizon Communications now has most subscribers in US market
Verizon Communications has become the largest mobile service provider in the US market in terms of number of subscribers.
The company took the first spot after acquiring Alltel. With this they have now overtaken AT&T.
Verizon is now serving close to 86.5 million. They gained 14.5 million wireless customers from last quarter.
AT&T currently has around 78.2 million wireless customers.
