India’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturer Tata Motors has launched their mini truck–’Tata Ace’ in the Sri Lankan market. The company claims that this is the only product of its kind in this neighboring market.
Tata launched the Ace in India last year and have received good response from customers. It also went on to create a totally new category in the Indian commercial vehicle industry.
Tata’s Ace mini truck is powered by an efficient and unique twin cylinder 16PS IDI 700cc diesel engine. They believe that Ace is suitable for both rural and urban use and has the ability to carry a variety of payloads.
The press release from the company said that Ace is a high performance, low maintenance, safe and reliable mini-truck with sporty car-like features to ensure comfort in ride and handling.
