Time Warner plans to spin off AOL
Time Warner has revealed their plans to spin off internet division AOL.
The company revealed some of the details about their upcoming plans in documents submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Time Warner has hinted in the past that they wanted to separate AOL from their core operations.
Company CEO Jeff Bewkes said that they are now working on finding out the right ownership structure for AOL.
AOL has been struggling to compete in the online market after they switched their focus to generating revenues through online services.
