Tesla Model S sedan: more than 1000 units booked already!
Tesla Motors seems to be on a roll. The company has already booked more than 1000 units of their yet to be launched Tesla Model S electric car.
The company is only expected to launch this car in 2011. They are accepting booking for around USD 5000. This money is refundable in case the customer decides to cancel the booking in the future.
Tesla is aiming to sell the car for around USD 50,000.
The company spoke about their existing electric sports car model Tesla Roadster: “Tesla has delivered more than 400 Roadsters to customers so far. The base price of the Roadster is $101,500 after a $7,500 federal tax credit.”
Tesla spoke about the pricing of Model S:
If you account for the much lower cost of electricity vs. gasoline at a likely future cost of more than $5 per gallon, the Model S is equivalent to a gasoline car with a sticker price of about $30,000, such as a Ford Taurus, Honda Accord, or even a Toyota Avalon or BMW 3-Series. Those savings are realized immediately if you lease a Model S, so there is no need wait years to earn back the price difference.

Tesla electric cars! Wow! I would definitely like to own one and show it off. I know I’ll be able to turn heads with Tesla cars.
But I cannot Ignore my modest Mahindra Renault Logan. It might not be as classy and as expensive as Tesla cars but it is surely worth the price that it comes at which is much lesser then Tesla cars. Looks are not sharp but I personally like Logan looks. Its looks big and mean. I have the plain Logan but the new LOGAN EDGE CONNECT looks very nice. Apart from that I love my Logan because of the Unbeatable mileage it gives. Power is decent enough in the car. Steering, Gears and Engine run pretty smoothly when maintained well.
I love Tesla cars But I love My Logan more!!!!
