China Mobile Communications in a deal with Motorola
US based mobile phone maker Motorola has announced that they are signing a deal with China Mobile Communications.
Motorola would now provide the Chinese mobile service provider 310 million dollars worth of mobile telecommunications equipment and services.
Motorola said that the deal would last for one year and it was signed last month.
Motorola China vice president and general manager Mohammad Akhtar spoke about their collaboration with China Mobile: “Motorola has worked with China Mobile for more than 20 years. As a long-term strategic partner of China Mobile, Motorola is proud to continue being a part of its growth. Motorola stands ready to support China Mobile in building a state-of-the-art network.”
China Mobile is the world’s largest mobile service provider in terms of mobile subscribers.
