Toyota to launch trucks in India through Hino Motors
Japanese automaker Hino Motors has announced that they are planning to launch their truck models in the Indian market.
The crucial aspect of this news is that Hino Motors is part of the Toyota Group.
Indian market already has seen the entry of Volvo and MAN.
Hino said that they would begin by importing the chassis and cabins from their factories in Thailand.
They plan to set up manufacturing facilities here in India at a later stage.
The company has already ended their technology collaboration with the domestic company Ashok Leyland.
